"I dropped off my 20 year old Stihl BG 55 leaf blower on Sep 16, 2026 because for some reason it would not start and in trying to start it repetitively I had broken the pull cord rope. I dealt with Stefan who took down all my info and concerns. I had never spent any money on this machine other than replacing a rope and maybe two spark plugs in 20 years so I was prepared for the worst. I received a call on Sep 25, that my leaf blower was ready to go. I wanted it in time for leaf season in October so I was quite happy. Furthermore, when we discussed initially what I might need, we talked about a tune up and possibly a carb kit. I did mention that I had put in a new spark plug so that was not a concern but if it was going to cost close to $200 or more to please call me first. I was very pleased when my bill came to $76 + tax!! They only needed to replace the fuel pickup, an air filter and the rope and they did not add any unnecessary costs so I was very pleased with the service. I gave the Stihl leaf blower a workout two days ago and it started with no problems and ran like charm through two tanks of gas. I want to commend Construction Equipment and in particular Stefan in the service department for their awesome service!!"

Purchased my first Ariens snowblower from Kevin who was just helping out in sales that day. When I returned the same day with some strange issues with my machine, it was brought in immediately and looked at. Being brand new, Kevin and Construction equipment decided it was best to replace the machine completely! Delivered to me the following day. Brought in my chainsaw for service. It was leaking gas (not from filler cap). Service Dept called me same day offering two options to repair. Pretty honest of them to not up sell me. I have my saw back working great for less than $50 repair.Thanks Construction Equipment. Sault Ste Marie is lucky to have this type of business people operating in our city.

Great place to do business. Not only do you receive fast service, but they take the time to explain to you how to use and maintain your equipment. Over it all, their prices are hard to beat.
I bought a tractor there lately. I am overall very satisfied, and I don't expect there to be any issues with the service I will receive from their part if I need it. If you are searching for a tractor, I definitively recommend you to take a look at their LS series.
